Francine was absolutely AMAZING to work with!  She helped me plan an unforgettable vacation and was there for us the whole length of our trip. We had some unexpected weather but she helped us modify our reservations and make the most of it. If there was anything we needed, we only needed to mention it and she would make it happen. I could go on and on, all the ways she came through. When the airline lost our luggage she helped us get swimsuits, when we needed to eat in bc of the timing of an excursion, she found us a private chef, a private massage, no problem. Hiring Francine was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in Belize. From the very beginning, her energy, warmth, and professionalism made us feel so supported. Her planning services were nothing short of amazing — thoughtful, organized, and deeply attuned to what we envisioned for our special day.

We worked together for nearly a year and a half leading up to our wedding, and I truly appreciated how balanced her communication was. She stayed in touch just enough that I never felt overwhelmed, but always knew I could reach out to her for anything, big or small. She remembered all of the little details we discussed, and her attention to those details made our wedding feel personal, sacred, and stress-free.

We were especially impressed when, five months before the wedding, our original venue fell through. Francine handled the situation with total grace and calm — and within days, she found us an even better venue that ended up being absolutely perfect. She truly works magic.

Every vendor she brought on board — the DJ, bartender, chef, Garifuna drummers, and more — were phenomenal. We were blown away by the quality of service, the friendliness of every person involved, and how seamlessly everything flowed. It was clear that Francine not only has an incredible network but also a deep care for the local community and a devotion to making your day as special as possible.

Francine, we felt so held by you. You have a true gift, and we will forever consider you part of our family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding dreams come true and for going above and beyond every step of the way.

And a special thank you to your daughter Bella as well — she was such a gem throughout the weekend! From helping with decorating and organizing to capturing so many sweet moments on photo and video, her support meant the world to us.

We just returned from our first month long vacation in Hopkins, Belize. The Airbnb we stayed in was fabulous. Our host advised us to contact Francine Matute at Belize Waves and Wonders to book excursions. I highly recommend her services. She was extraordinary, organized, thorough, attended to details and good at communicating. She helped us ahead of the trip with planning everything, including  car rental pickup at the airport. Halfway thru the trip the car alignment and front end steering seemed wonky so Car One Rental brought us a new upgraded car with no added expense.
Francine scheduled all of our excursions. We went scuba diving 2 days with Happie Go Lucky. I highly recommend them. Very fun and worth going out with knowledgeable, safe, and fun dive masters. They scheduled  an hour refresher course for us in their pool since it had been 2 years since our last dive. We saw turtles, eels, rays, lobsters, puffer fish, nurse sharks, barracudas,corals and beautiful schools of various fish of all colors.
Cal Tropics took us on an all day deep sea fishing excursion which was a highlight of our trip. Delicious Belizean chicken dish was a home cooked treat for lunch and all drinks for a fun day were also provided. The captain, Elwyn, and his crew, James, helped us catch more fish than we could eat. Both days we caught red snapper, barracuda, tuna, yellow stripe, yellow jack, horse eye jacks and a few others. The water over the barrier reef was every blue color on the spectrum. They cleaned all the fish which were delicious to eat. Highly recommend them.
Adventures, Get to know Belize is who we snorkeled with. They did a great job making sure we saw lots of underwater sea life. Swam with small groups so our guides could point out  things we may not have seen without their expertise. They really know a lot about the geography as well as the corals and fish. It's an unbelievable experience to see so much amazing sea life.
Another highlight was birthday dinner at Ella's Cool Spot that Francine arranged. They went all out with drinks, lobster tail, and homemade strawberry cheesecake. Excellent service, food, and fun atmosphere on the beach.
I highly recommend Belize Waves and Wonders and especially Francine to book excursions in Belize. She was easy to work with and helped make our adventures stress free from beginning to end with planning, scheduling, preparing, and coordinating it all. Thank you for a wonderful time.
